Job Description
We are seeking a savvy Data Quality Analyst to join our growing team. This position will be at the forefront of data governance and will be responsible for ensuring the expansion and optimization of our data integrity guidelines. The ideal candidate will be an experienced data wrangler who pays attention to details and has a process-oriented mindset. This person must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
Develop solid data validation processes, including cleansing, error handling, and security measures
Identify, evaluate, and monitor the quality of data across systems
Ensure adherence to data governance policies and standards
Conduct root cause analyses and document the data quality rules and definitions
Create data quality metrics reports to track improvements and trends in data health over time
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields
Have 5+ years of relevant experience
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, data modeling, and data cleaning and verification.
Working familiarity with data warehousing and cloud platforms (e.g., MySQL, Snowflake, AWS, Magento)
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python)
Experience with ELT processes and API integration
Experience working with large datasets and complex data environments
Knowledge of data security best practices is a plus
