Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking QA Automation Test Engineers to join our team. You will be involved in designing, developing, and executing automated testes to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. This position requires collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality automated testing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using mainstream automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and define test strategies.
• Design & implement test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is unaffected by new changes.
• Conduct stress testing to ensure system performance under high user demands and workloads.
• Implement & execute whitebox and blackbox testing methodologies.
• Stay updated with latest industry trends & best practices in automation testing.
• Provide detailed test reports & metrics.

Successful Applicant

• 3+ years of experience in QA automation testing.
• Familiar with programming languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, and relevant testing tools.
• Experience integrating CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Understand & experience with frontend visual testing.
• Experience in integration testing including database validation.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium & JMeter.
• Experience with mobile application automated testing such as Appium.
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiar with version control system such as Git.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication & collaboration skills.
• Experience with visual recognition automation testing frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, SikuliX).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of performance & security testing
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices
• Experience with Container Technologies
• Familiar with database testing & SQL
• Experience in large-scale testing environments is a plus
